My First Workshop

Good Evening,
I hope you have all had a fantastic Weekend, doing things that make you happy!

I was privileged enough to hold my first workshop.
One of my fellow crafting friends, Colleen hosted it for me.  Only two girls attended, But to be honest I was kind of grateful. It meant I could focus my attention on the two of them with out being to overwhelmed.
Colleen made the cards I prepared and the other lady that attended.
Karen, made her own layout using Stampin' Up Products that I had for the cards.

Colleen being crafty as she is, needed very little assistance. She just used the instructions I had written and went about making her cards independently. Thank fully she was able to point out the couple of little issues with my instructions so I can amend them for future use.

Karen also worked independently and very creatively made a double page spread for her precious Grandson. I am thrilled to be able to share their creations with you today.

First we have the 4 cards Colleen created

I chose 4 cards that I had myself made, so I could show the example and also know how to show someone else how to make it.

I think she did a really beautiful job on this embossed resistance card.
I love the colours she chose

Beautiful You Dancing Lady

 Beautiful You Designer Lady

And Finally The magic Dinosaur !

Karen's  Double page spread is just delightful I am sure you will agree

I  Love the use of the paper it just adds something extra special
( Karen actually requested to use this paper even though it is a retired item, she knew it was perfect for the layout she had envisaged. I have to agree)

And those Dinosaurs are something else!!!
I love the vibrant colours and the way she chose to fussy cut them ...

I can not thank these wonderful ladies enough (I am lucky enough to actually call my friends) for an amazing day of  Stamping and Crafting.  We talked, we laughed but most importantly we shared our passion for creativity.

All In all I think I had a successful workshop and have learnt a few little  things that I will iron out before my next one.

I hope you enjoyed seeing the creations the ladies made.

Thank you for visiting my page today

Happy Crafting
