Nadi's Stamptopia: Global Design Project 077, #GDPO77

Hello Again,

I have been a busy little beaver this week doing all kinds of projects. I will share 1 each day with you.

Todays item is the next Global Design Project 077

This weeks challenge is to use the colours below, selected by the Design Team

At first I was like oh wow! how will I pull these colours together. then I started looking at the colours and realised they actually match perfectly with the Cupcakes and Carousels DSP.

Then I was inspired to use my new stamp set Beetles and Bugs.

I used the Bermuda Bay Cardstock as the base of my card.

The Peekaboo Peach as the mat on the front and the inlay inside the card.

I used the paper as my top on the front of the card.

I then put 2 strips of Early Espresso across the front of the card.

I stamped my beetles and bugs on to whisper white and then fussy cut them out.

This is where I introduced my chosen colour of Real Red.

I also stamped the bug pins and fussy cut them too.

I played around with the placement of the bugs for a while before settling on the layout.

I used dimensionals to adhere the bugs to the card front. I used multipurpose liquid glue to adhere the pins to the bugs.

I used the Guy Greetings stamp set to stamp the letters BUGS on the front of the card and Sale-A-Bration set Any Occasion to spell out BOY O BOY inside the card

( I masked the other letters using washi tape so that only the letter I wanted to use was inked ... you need to remove washi tape before stamping your item)
