Good afternoon,
How is everyone going with their Christmas shopping and present wrapping?? I have only a couple of presents left to wrap and I'm done. I am organized for the first time in years I'm normally up late Christmas eve still wrapping gifts and organizing food.
Where ever you are or however you Celebrate I hope you are surrounded by the presence of all you hold dear.
I have been busy creating this past week, getting my Christmas cards all finished and posted.
I also had an order for a customer to complete.
The request was for a Birthday card with Butterfly's and a new Baby Girl Card,
so I put on my On my thinking cap ( had to think out side Christmas Colours)
and I came up with the following cards.
For the Butterfly Birthday Card I created a multi mat front with a double 3D butterfly
I just love the colour combination in this Card.
I used Acetate and embossed it to create the white butterfly shimmer effect
Really happy with the result
Such a Pretty Card
For New Baby Girl card I decided to do a Pop Up box card
This was more time consuming than I thought it would be, as I had never made one before
was a little fiddly with my big fingers
so many fun elements to this style of card
I think its a really cute card
My customer was over the moon with this card
( I used the "Moon Baby" set and watercolor pencils
from the up and coming Occasions Catalogue
Released January 4th )
